Andrea Jeffress, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN physician & surgeon who resides and practices in Erie, PA. A gifted, young scholar, she left Sanford School in Hockessin, DE at the age of 14 and enrolled in Simon’s Rock of Bard College in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. At Simon’s Rock, she was a Blodgett Scholar and majored in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Natural Science. She was also the winner of the Caleb Roosevelt Creative Writing Award for a compilation of poetry written in college. After graduating Magna Cum Laude at the age of 18, she took a year off and worked in a neurosurgery lab as a Yale research assistant in New Haven, Connecticut.

Mrs. Constance Le'Von Manus


Mrs. Constance Le'Von Manus was born in Winston-Salem North Carolina to William and Minnette Gwyn. Her mother passed away when she was three years old of breast cancer. She was raised by her father, along with three siblings. During her upbringing, she learned the art and the spirit of perseverance. She attended Shaw University and graduated in 1974 with a BS in Behavioral Science. In 1988, she received her Masters in Special Education from Edinboro University.

A fearless and compassionate educator, she retired after 26 years of teaching in the Erie School District. She also worked as a social worker in many other places, such as the El Paso Texas school district, Spokane public schools, family services of Erie Pennsylvania, and as the CHAMPS After School Program Coordinator in the Erie School District. She was a 2009 Dress for Success Dynamic 12 award recipient.

Mr. Rickey McCullough


Mr. Rickey McCullough is the Associate Ombudsman for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He has over 35 years of service in the banking industry as a federal regulator with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), serving within the FDIC’s Office of the Ombudsman for over 18 years.

Mr. McCullough began his FDIC career in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships where he has served in various leadership roles including, Managing Liquidator, Supervisory Liquidation Specialist, and as a Managing Agent for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) during the S&L crisis where he was assigned to run the operations of a $200 million financial institution. As the FDIC’s Associate Ombudsman and designated neutral, he acts as a change agent to identify trends, issues and concerns about agency policies and procedures that affect the banking industry. He works to assist bankers, depositors of insured financial institutions and the public when affected by the FDIC in its regulatory, resolution, receivership or asset disposition activities.

Elicia Pegues Spearman is an experienced Employment Attorney and Human Resources Leader that worked for Aetna, a Fortune 50 Company, for twelve years. She has also been employed by other private, federal government and state organizations. For over sixteen years Attorney Spearman has practiced and litigated a wide variety of employment matters in state and federal courts. She has been licensed to practice law in four states and before the United States Supreme Court. Prior to working at Aetna, she worked as an attorney for Children's Hospital, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

Mr. Luther R. Manus

Luther R. Manus, Jr. was born on October 10, 1927 in Erie, Pennsylvania. He lost his mother at an early age, and he had several brothers and sisters to support. Life was hard in those years, but the family survived. He was forced to drop out of school in the eighth grade, and he worked various jobs to help support the family.

Luther was drafted in 1946 and served in the Army until 1949. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Gannon College in 1953. During that time, he had four children, Carlton Manus, Denice Manus, Cynthia Manus, Stephanie Manus, and Dr. Sandie Manus Fields.

With the Bachelor's degree in hand, he re-entered the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. He was challenged with many assignments and responsibilities from 1953-1955. Dr. Denise Green attended Antioch College Yellow Springs, Ohio. She obtained her BA in Liberal Arts in 1984. She always had a passion for medicine as a young child. She realized she had to pursue a career in medicine. As a result, she took the necessary required pre-medical courses.

Prior to beginning her medical school program, she was an Instructor in Neurodiagnostic Testing at UCLA, Sleep-Lab Manager at Stanford University Hospital, and a member of a "open-Heart Surgery Team".

Captain Patricia Helliger was hired by the New Haven Police Department in October 1995. She was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the fourth year as an officer and assigned to Internal Affairs, Communications, Narcotics and Family Services Divisions. In 2009 she was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. As a Lieutenant she supervised patrol officers and sergeants as the shift commander. She has been the OIC (Officer in Charge) of the Records and Property units. On February 19, 2016, she was promoted as the first Black female Captain and assigned as the Deputy of Administration. She is currently in charge of Property, Records, Planning, Garage/Fleet units and the New Haven Animal Shelter.

Graduated from Stony Brook University, L.I. NY with a degree in Liberal Arts with a Psychology Minor.
